Cozy One Bedroom Apt located in the West End of SJ

Comfortable property in a quiet neighborhood. Everything we needed was supplied. Three things to note, the sofa bed is a small futon and the spare bedding didn't seem as clean or well kept as I would have preferred. Secondly, if someone in your party is tall, 6'3" or more, the ceilings may present a problem. This is a basement apartment and my husband had to duck in the doorways and under some low lying beams in the living room. Thirdly, and by no fault of the host, tenants in the upstairs who walk heavily can be somewhat annoying. I would recommend using earplugs as I did. Otherwise, not a bad rental for our week and a half stay in St. Johns.

Stayed for week for canada summer games. Location was great for downtown and university. Very central location. Stayed with our daughter as well. Worked for three of us. Pull out futon worked for her (13) but likely wouldn’t be comfortable for an adult. Upstairs guests were very quiet and respectful. Kitchen well set up. No AC but likely not usually an issue we were there when was unseasonably hot and the fires were an issue so couldn’t open windows a couple of nights. Would stay again.

Nice cozy and great area

The property owner/manager, maintenance guy, and cleaners were all lovely and responsive. No complaints there. My "complaint" is that this property is basically basement level, which I think should be made clear. There is very little natural light and no place to site outside. We found ourselves not wanting to spend much time relaxing here. Also, any activity in the upstairs space is loud and clear downstairs, and the floors upstairs are very squeeky. So it was a bit of a rough stay for us.
