Just as described, maybe better. Secluded and private while renaming close to the center and lots of wonderful cafes and restaurants. Communication with host was consistent and recommendations provided were all stellar. I would absolutely return.

We LOVED this place! couldn’t have been more accommodating for travelers! perfectly clean, tons of towels, spices for cooking, snacks and lemon water upon arrival. we paid extra to get our laundry picked up, washed, and delivered same day which was a huge plus! the hosts were very kind, communicative, and helpful.

Beautifully designed and appointed; Casa Malaga feels like a luxury suite at a fine hotel. the grounds are gorgeous and there is a pharmacy and convenience store a block away; and Bacalar Town square is 5 blocks away, lagoon beach clubs and restaurant about 6 blocks away.

What a beacutiful home. From the very first momeny we opened the door - just wow. The house is large, very clean, had everything we needed and very well located (about a 12-15 minute walk to the water and to the main square). We felt super safe during our stay.
