Stathis Rooms - 300m from Kalamaki Beach, by ZanteWize

The rooms was comfortable and the air conditioning was effective. Staff were friendly. The room was very clean. I was great to have a washing line with pegs on the terrace. The gardens were lovely and clearly a lot if thought was put into decorating it. The rooms were mostly well decorated. Location is great for the beach and also not far from the main street where most of the restaurants and shops are.

I would have liked more storage, especially a chest of drawers. And I’d have also liked more coat hangers, only four were provided. I also would have liked of the curtain was wide enough to cover the entire window. The outer shutters have slots in which let light through. So in the mornings the room can get quite light which disturbs my sleep. The bathroom smelt of drains which was quite unpleasant. It was quite difficult to get a consistent water temperature in the shower. I didn’t like that the room’s door wasn’t doubled locked after the room was cleaned each day. Maybe I missed it but an outside tap would be useful to be able to rinse feet/shoes to remove sand after coming back from the beach.

Very nice cleaning lady, who did an excellent job!

It was very close to the beach and the area is very quiet

I don’t have anything in particular I didn’t like - maybe bathrooms could be upgraded.

the location , the door was broken but fixed straight away also the bathroom flooded and that also was fixed immediately

looks very run down, owner often threw food for the cats over the balcony above us
