Lovely history to the building we stayed in of which part of which was the hotel. Felt very safe.
Luca, the host was great and made us feel very welcome.
Very easy walking access to all the local shops and restaurants including the marinas and ports.
The private garden was very tranquil. The pool looked stunning but the water was quite cold so not the best for a leisurely swim.
No hesitation in recommending this as a place to stay in Sorrento.

Oh safe - you won't find a more wonderful building in a secure environment.
If you want a plastic hotel, this may not be for you; if you want an oasis, a few minutes stroll to the marina, piazza, churches, old town then, this tickes the boxes.

We booked this hotel based on Expedia reviews and were disappointed. At the high price point, it was not what we expected.
On the positive side, the hotel is located a short walk to the Piazza Tasso, the main square in Sorrento. The room and bathroom were clean, except for mold on the tiles in the shower, which was not removed during our 7 day stay.
The hotel had a substantial garden area with a pool, but the garden is overgrown, with seedy furniture, some of which sits on sad looking green plastic “grass”. The room was large, but the furniture looked like it came from grandma’s attic. In addition to a large circular table, there was an upright piano ! There was a long hard sofa embellished with gold painted trim and a couple of coordinated chairs, but nothing actually comfortable.
The toiletries provided were two tiny packets of shampoo and a pump container of soap at the sink. No shower gel or soap, no lotion, no conditioner. For a bathroom cup we had two paper cups which were not replaced during our 7 night stay. Sometimes shampoo and toilet paper were replenished, but not consistently.
If this were a budget hotel this would be about what you’d expect. But as an expensive property, it was pretty sad and very disappointing.
It is also worth noting that motorcycle traffic on the adjacent street is quite noisy at all hours.
