THE INN- PITTSBURGH

Parking was easy but definitely not secured i paid for a double room with 2 beds and a pullout i got a single with 1 bed no pullout. No hot water at night the sheets and towels were not clean. The remote didnt work and to top it off the elevator was out of order due to renovation. I informed them i needed a lower level room because of my knees so to climb 4 stairs with luggage was the worst nightmare. The worst rip off ever!

Very easy check in

Conveniently located, inexpensive and clean. Enclosed parking a big plus. Hotel was undergoing repairs while staying. Starbucks across the street.

Staff and other guests were very friendly and kind. I slept well, despite the walls being somewhat thin and hearing other guests. Wi-Fi did not work in my room but worked out in the lobby. Furniture was a little dusty but overall it was clean, building is run down and elevator was out due to recent flooding. Overall, a good experience for the price.

Had a great trip. Love this place will return!

Needs a lot of love

Crack hotel. However, the people who worked there were great. The woman who eventually checked me in was very nice. But it was sketchy trying to figure out how and who to check in with. Really nice guy helped me with the TV. I think someone new bought the property because I had to make phone calls to different phone numbers to figure things out. Bottom line, it is a crack hotel. It reaks of crack and it's BEYOND filthy. Shower was terrible. There was a shoe print on my pillow. Couldn't sleep at all. I did reserve the day of but I didn't expect that. The in staff was nice but its still a crack hotel. Plan ahead so you don't end up there.

Hoyrl is under construction. Lots of potential there just meeds some TLC

This hotel was shady. Has one story parking garage that’s not lit up. You cannot find your way to “front desk”. I was opening doors trying to find entrance and saw their laundry room and water main closet. As soon as we checked in, they shut the lights out and never saw anyone again. Towels were paper thin and big enough for a toddler. Lotion on bathroom counter was half used. Do not recommend. Safe was in room sitting on a brick.

You get what you pay for at a budget hotel. Only saw staff when checking out. Had to call a call center to get the lockbox code to get my room key, which went smoothly but was a little odd. Elevator is out of commission so you have to take the stairs, which are directly accessible from the street. The room itself was perfectly serviceable. Definitely a great price!

The fire alarms were flashing upon entry into the property. The front desk didn’t even know until we told them. Absolutely ridiculous

Very friendly staff, and my room was pretty clean!

The elevator was not working. TV was only U Tube, no good instruction on how to best use it {First time for me]. The soap bars were almost useless, no wash cloths, service only every 3rd day. no real security at night the garage was open as was the main entrance - no key required. The lobby, if that the picture to the left looks nothing like the real thing. I had no remote in the room, had to ask for one. Admittedly, I was looking for a bargin but thee Imnn- Pittsburgh was no bargin.

The check in was easy enough, I had a room on the 2nd floor and the ELEVATOR WAS OUT OF ORDER FOR THE ENTIRE STAY, i AM 64 YO, iT WAS A HUFF TO GET UP THERE. The stairwells were dirty and the railings sticky The ice machine was out of order for the entire visit The Parking garage under the hotel was not open the entire visit forcing us to park across the street in a GRAVEL PARKING LOT. The Towels and Wash cloths were akin to sand paper Very Rough and stained, I tried to stop by the front desk a few times but NO ONE Was ever there, even during there posted hours While the in room refrigerator worked it was so loud I was forced to unplug it to get a good nights sleep There we 2 TINY Bars of Soap and 2 Ketchup sized packet of Shampoo hard to shower with. BUT was made easier because it took at least 15 Minutes to get LUKE WARM WATER. I stayed at this place because it was close to my elderly father who had just come out of the hospital and i wanted to be close to him in case an emergency came up, Thank G-D it did not. I could tell you about the ants running onto my bed monday night finally forcing me to leave and drive back home at 2AM but I am sure this is enough for you to digest. I will be happy to elaborate on a phone call. As a leader in online Hotel reservations i think you bear some responsibility, A property in such disrepair should not be available on you site. I would like a FULL REFUND 359.40 for this horrific experience please consider my request

So large dogs barking at 11pm and again at 1am was both securing and alarming. I wish there had been. Some way to inform Expedia of the elevator being out. I get ants. Ant happen on the end table when you put food on it. Or coffee. Got it. I set my limit at any #6 in the bed. We didn't eat in the bed and we had ants. In the bed..We did not stay beyond the one night although we reserved two. Saturday morning constructiib helped solidify our decision.

This inn has the basics covered. It is nothing fancy, and perfect for those of us who want to travel but can't or don't want to pay the big bucks for a city stay. It is what you might describe as "adequate" and those expecting luxury should go elsewhere and pay three times as much. The modest price allows people who aren't loaded to visit Pittsburgh. It's an affordable, safe, good enough option. The people who work here are courteous, helpful, and welcoming. I was thankful to have the Inn and will stay here again if life brings me back to Pittsburgh.

No front desk, no staff. Room smells bad. I had to call a number to find my room key.

It took me a minute to find the check in desk when i arrived, once i found it it took an additional extra few minutes because it seemed like the ladies werent sure how to work their system. I then get to my room which looked clean until i got into the bathroom and found that it looked like somebody had showered in there several hours before i checked in. Clean towels on the side of the tub but there was a used bar of soap still in the shower, hair in the shower, and dirty towel with makeup on it hanging on the back of the door. Really wouldve liked a shower after standing 2 and a half hours in the rain then attending a 4 hour concert.

Do not stay here. Looks like a crack house. They have photos of an underground garage, but the garage isn’t functional. The elevator doesn’t work. The rooms look like a hostage room. I asked for a refund, they told me to go thru the app but they refused to release the funds. STAY AWAY!

There are very good things to say about my room and about the staff. The technical maintenance was above average. Power strips mounted to the walls, not just one or a few outlets, were a nice touch that made things easier. And people were eager to help. Unfortunately, when I tried to stop back at 2:00pm on Saturday, my room key had stopped working, and no one was on hand to let me in. It was an hour until I reached someone on the phone. That person told me he was heading over, but was 25 minutes away. And then he never showed up. It was two other people, after 45 minutes, who showed up. So I lost and hour and 45 minutes, during a short visit. I know it was that long because the times are in my phone logs. A room key can stop working anywhere. But the listing for this hotel claims that the desk is staffed from 8:00am to 8:00pm, with staff reachable at other times with a phone call. In reality, the hotel gets left entirely unattended for hours at a time while staff leave to do other work. The phone is not answered reliably during those times. And while some of that work is in the immediate neighborhood, I was told, some of it is in other parts of the city. If you're not worried about potentially getting locked out for hours, or can wait if some other problem comes up, this hotel could be comfortable for you, as it was for me before this happened. But if it's important to you that timely help be available should a need arise, this would not be the place for you.
