    The location is good and convenient, but unfortunately the overall experience was quite disappointing. The property advertises 24-hour check-in, but when we arrived, it took quite a while for someone to answer the phone and assist us. The room itself is quite old, and the floor was very noisy. We could also hear a lot of noise from the shower and surrounding rooms. The biggest issue, however, was the noise and disturbance early in the morning. Before 6am, someone started arguing, banging and throwing things, and shouting loudly. This continued for almost two hours, and despite the disturbance, it seemed that no staff member took any action. Eventually, as we realised that the situation was not being addressed, we had to call the police ourselves. The location is a positive, but the condition of the room, noise levels and especially the lack of response to a serious disturbance made this a very unpleasant stay.

    Look, if you're expecting the Hilton, you'll be disappointed. But if you want a dusty old motel in central Melbourne with a cantankerous day-sleeper in the room next door banging on the wall everytime you so much as pick up a plate, then this is great value for money. Will stay again, when my plans require me to have a low-key room with easy access.
