The place is cute, clean and a place I would recommend staying. First, you walk in and you see the living room, dining table and kitchen, all simply put together. The fun plus was seeing the Ms. Pac-Man arcade game. The bedrooms were clean, there were plenty of towels in the adequate bathrooms, and the cupboards in the kitchen had sufficient items to utilize. The odd things were the electric ceramic stovetop which wasn't easy to use, so we had to Google it. Some pans would not work on the surface.
There is a little misleading as I did not see a fireplace. There was an electric style heater "fireplace" but not a real one.
The neighbor has 4 dogs who made friends with us quickly. The neighbor herself was very friendly, aware of the surroundings, and helpful.
Overall, if I were to visit this area of Alaska again, I would certainly stay here again. I recommend it to anyone for a simple stay in an area that was quiet.
