Pros: * great location * large rooms with lots of space to accommodate our large group * great staff * beautiful grounds * accommodated our request for a late checkout Cons: * outdated rooms * cleanliness was not up to standard (cobwebs on ceilings) * we had a problem with ants in the kitchen and bathroom, which unfortunately got into our food the same day we arrived. We had to toss out several items or keep all food in the refrigerator and off of countertops. * no A/C. There were lots of windows and screen doors for airflow, but even with them open, it was just too warm inside. Much too uncomfortable even to sleep at night. * because you had to leave the doors and windows open for airflow, you could hear the roosters ALL night long, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. While the space was great for our family and the location also great, we would not return to this facility. The no AC, the ants, and the noise made our stay not as enjoyable as we had hoped. When staying in this area again, we will choose a different location.

I was really disappointed with the room that I got. When I booked the reservation it was for a one bedroom with a full kitchen (that I really needed for the time staying there) and it had a balcony with a living room space. But when I checked in I got an economy room which did not do any justice for me. With the amount I got charged for it was not worth it. Now I go back on the booking to see the difference in price it’s about $600 difference for a one bedroom.

Pool opens at 8Am, which is late in my opinion to an early bird. No dining in the property. Without car impossible to get around. Lily pond full of frogs, making terrible noise all night, my room was next to the pond. Keep getting annoying phone calls from Wyndham after my stay. Otherwise staff was nice and kind, overall clean room, and pool really nice.

The room was tiny, also the air conditioner was not functional and they didnt let us know ahead of time. They also supplied us with 2 towels expecting them to last 5 days for 2 adults.

It’s a beautiful campus, but there is no parking. And I love the fresh breeze with the windows, but that means you can hear every noise from every unit. There are no windows, just plastic blinds. Wonderful Rainfall will wake you up bc of hitting the leaves. And WiFi is only 4.87 Mbps.

Good location in the North of Kauai with a lot of activities possible. But it’s difficult to find a parking if you are coming back after 8pm (and it’s not possible to park outside of the property). And the studio we had was really noisy: you really think you are leaving with people next door. They made the strange choice to put an open door between the room and the bathroom, really not convenient when you are going to the toilet…

For most people Hawaii is a Dream Trip. It is with that description; one wants the accommodation to be clean, affordable and exemplary. We were placed on the Southeast Corner of the property next to the busy road. The amount of traffic and noise at this unit was next level. (Cars, Motorbikes etc..) Upon bringing this to the hotels attention, we were told, the only unit we could move to was near the present room, but that it did not have Air Conditioning. (didn't bother moving) After unpacking all of our items including food, we found an infestation of Ants in the common food prep area. The redress to this was to send out a crew and spray the ants in the area which our food was prepared. Our kids found the pool to be cold, despite being active and moving throughout the time in it. While it is Hawaii, an amiable temperature is still needed for enjoyment. While a request for compensation was made to the manager, I only received a call back from the front desk saying they had sprayed for Ants. I checked my Visa bill when I got home and saw a credit of $300, but unfortunately it was only the "hold back" to book the room which fell off. At 300 USD a night, I can say I won't be back or talk highly of the place. Disappointed

Property was nice, pool area well kept. Our room was a small studio with no AC, so could of used a bit more space and cooling for sleeping at night. Good beaches nearby. Not too many restaurants in the area so a kitchen is nice.

Excellent view of the ocean-next to the golf course. Kicked off the walkway and badgered by golf attendant even though it was next to our room and we were viewing the sunrise! Late flight caused late checkin. Staff not available for checkin and security had to be called which was not super helpful to find the room. Parking was challenging and service was acceptable-nothing special.

A decent resort. Not enough parking for the number of rooms. On check in I was informed by the check in agent: "You are in the cheapest type of room and I'm pretty sure none of those rooms have working AC." From this I infer that Club Wyndham does not consider it economic to maintain working AC in its less expensive rooms. Seriously Wyndham get your act together!

Stayed on the ground level in a 2 bedroom with full kitchenette, and washer/dryer. Unit was spacious, and there was also a large lanai area. This property is more of a condo type instead of a hotel. My cons are that there is no AC - Floor fans are available but was only given 1 instead 2 due to limited supply; The floors are not sound proof. We could hear every foot step and movements from the people above us. Not ideal for people who have infants which was the case for us; The pool had outdoor rubbish and bugs - does not appear to be cleaned daily. Other than that, it was a nice and relaxing stay, and convenient to the shopping areas.

Noisy. The windows are slatted and don’t close completely, so you can hear the roosters very clearly, which started crowing just after midnight every night and didn’t stop. After the first night, we checked out as soon as our cancellation policy would let us. Since we had to stay a few nights, we wore earplugs and played brown noise through our portable speaker, which helped a little, but still woke a few times a night. Other than that, it was nice. The economy room was small, but our room had a hot plate, utensils, cookware, dishes, coffee maker, and mini fridge. The bathroom was big and really nice. The pool was nice. The hot tub was deep but tiny. You could probably fit 6 people comfortably, but while we were there, only a few other people were in it, so it was roomy enough.

Upon check-in, Gwen helped us get situated. She was an absolute pleasure to not only deal with, but to speak to. She was polite, courteous, and very helpful. If I have to make a complaint, the living room window did have a leak so we got to enjoy a little rainfall/waterfall while watching TV

We booked a one bedroom condo at one Wyndham resort in Princeville. Upon check in, our family was placed in a two bedroom unit in the Shearwater section. The unit was beautiful, spacious and clean, with a large Lanai with a lovely view. The resort also offers classes and other opportunities for guests, which we did not depart in because our days were already booked. I would 100% stay here again.

When I arrived it was after 11pm, there was no people at registration desk. The security guard drives around to check people in. But he was grumpy. He gave me the keys and told me to find my room. This property has independent buildings all over the place and in the dark, in the rain, I had to find my own room. I thought that was not cool. The security guard should at least lead me to my room.

Perfect space for 3 olders kids, my husband and I. This space was exquisite and fit our needs perfectly. Furthermore, we had tons of family fun time in the two pools they offered and had burgers on the grill by the pool. Would stay again!
