We stayed here recently over the Australia day weekend to hike Mt. Kosciusko. I did not receive much check-in information from management, and had to phone up one of the managers, who said they were at work at not at the lodge. This was not their full-time job during the summer, apparently.
The rooms are located on the top floor and are well insulated for winter. In summer the heat remains in the rooms. There were no AC units nor fans, which made it unbearable.
The check-out process was worse - again, very little communication from management. One staff member told me to drop off the keys at Thredbo Ski Lodge. On arrival, they had no idea what we were talking about. Called again, and another staff member said to leave the key back at Aneeki. Our time was wasted driving around the village.
Apart from the lack of communication and air con, it was comfortable enough to stay at. The bathroom and kitchen amenities were a highlight.
