Condo was very clean and comfortable, kitchen was well stocked. The view from every room was beautiful! The building is having some work done on the outside but it did not affect our stay.
I will definitely book with Southern Vacation Rentals again in the future.

Secure parking. Beautiful view. Plenty of dining options. Walmart and souvenir shop. Wish the giant pool was heated a little. It's nice that the resort is secure but that's too many codes to remember for the room and beach gate.

We have stayed at Long Beach several times, and overall have always loved the property. The unit we stayed in this time was fine, no problems with the unit itself. The problem was with the rental management group and their failure to tell us when booking or before arrival that there was construction going on in in our tower as well as the neighboring towers. This limited the access to pools. The pool in tower one was completely closed, pool in tower two had half access, only one elevator working in each tower.
We completely understand that properties require maintenance and upgrades, and appreciate that Long Beach is doing that. However, I feel that the rental companies should disclose that when booking, and give you the opportunity to either book somewhere else or be discounted if you’re still gonna stay there. All guests should’ve been made aware of the extra noise from construction, limited parking and limited access to the pools.
