This is our 2nd time visiting Stillwaters Resort.
The staff are always friendly and helpful.
The lake is fabulous.
Our only problem- they said the pools were heated- they were not and the hot tubs in the Zume Flume area were cold.
Ideal for warmer months!

Con- The resort was nothing like the photos. Its very outdated and things didnt work like they should.
The pool areas were very small, and outdated. Hot tub did not work.
Paid to stay in room with a jacuzzi & fireplace, neither worked. The bed was very firm.
The area with drinks and food was super messy, not like the photos at all and the drinks while good were crazy expensive. The arena is nothing like pictured, there is no place to just swim, and its also run down.
Pro-The location was good, and the room was clean. The pizza place was very good.
Overall, just dont spend your money here. There are SO many other places to stay that are not rundown.

Nice location, and amenities. Basic offerings like an inflatable water slide are "given away" at check in, like they are giving away significant value- those perks should just be included, or it cheapens the experience. Huge difference between public rental rooms, and "member rooms". Nice people working most venues, but most are trained to sell "membership", and whether it's family owned or not, it's still a very typical time share presentation. So be careful about selling your vacation time to attend that to save $200. We were sold the presentation by 4 different staff members, even at the marina. We attended because we wanted a sneak peak, and were told it was more of a golf cart tour of what is up and coming. No, its a time share sales pitch. It you have a good product, it sells itself, like Disney. All the rest of the knock-offs use cheap sales techniques to convince. How about hire more people to work the food trucks, the bar, and staff the amenities you have for the hours you publicize, before trying to upsell your guests. That way, your new guests are left trying to figure out operations. You need to invest more in excellent customer service before trying to upsell your guests into "membership".
