    This is not anything like they described. The hot tub didn’t work, the pool had bugs that were swimming around. There was blood spatters on the 3rd floor, I told them about it and they never cleaned it up. We all came back with bug bites.

    Don’t recommend this time of year due to seaweed. Cause the resort smells really bad though they cleaned daily. The sea was just purging itself.

    Carina Bay Boutique Resort is honestly a 3-star resort at best right now. The property has potential, but there are several areas that need improvement to match the experience guests expect. First, housekeeping needs major improvement — rooms should feel thoroughly cleaned, not just quickly refreshed. The resort would also benefit from offering more food options and extended dining availability. The lobby bar should be reopened and opened earlier than 11 AM to better accommodate guests throughout the day. Small property upkeep would also make a huge difference, including deep-cleaning rooms and addressing some of the subpar upgrades around the resort. The tiny sinks in the rooms should be replaced, and the carpet leading to the pool area should be removed or updated. The pool and jacuzzi also need resurfacing and more frequent cleaning to improve both appearance and overall guest experience. Overall, the resort has a beautiful location and a lot of potential, but better maintenance, cleanliness, and amenities are needed to justify a higher rating.
