Villa Kokalis Resort

We want a holiday to bring 3 family generations to stay under one roof for family time and relaxation, and the villa fits the bill perfectly. The villa is beautifully designed and furnished. Owners of the villa is extremely helpful and friendly, just like an old family friend welcoming us into their home: anything you need or want to ask, just shout over the fence, she is there! She has also very kindly prepared a lovely BBQ party for all of us and we brought martini and local sweets. We certainly were very well looked after and had a fantastic time at the house. The villa is set in the very quiet plot: all you can hear is cicada's singing - a lot of it (don't worry, the double glazing works well if you don't like noise)! I love to sit outside the front door overlooking the pool and the view in distance where sun shines over the mountain opposite: all you get is peace and tranquility. We have also ventured to the roof top of the villa where you can take panoramic view of the land and sunset. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the local convenience store, cafe and a lovely local restaurant. It is a very closely knitted community: everyone knows everyone, especially our host, and it is not a problem at all that we did not have a car (did not want the hassle of driving). Taxi service is also very good and reasonable if necessary.
