The location was great, and the place had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The beds were very comfortable, and I especially liked the spacious balcony and the quick access to the beach right in front of the property.

My experience started with patronizing behavior that felt unnecessary. A misunderstanding was handled with poor communication and little empathy, and instead of working toward a solution, the host seemed more focused on placing blame. I chose this property because it appeared under Booking’s pet-friendly filter. After the booking was confirmed, the host contacted me via WhatsApp to request my details, and I clearly mentioned that I was traveling with my 2.5 kg dog. I asked whether there was any extra fee and requested the payment details if needed, but I never received a response to that question, even though the host continued requesting other information via WhatsApp. When I arrived with my parents and brother, we were treated very rudely because my mom did not have her physical ID, even though we had already provided copies, photos, and all the requested information both before arrival and on site. The situation was handled in a way that made us feel as if we had done something illegal, which was very uncomfortable and unlike anything I have experienced while traveling in Spain or Europe. Later, I was told that I should have sent the dog request specifically through Booking messages. I understand if that was required, but since I had already communicated about the dog via WhatsApp and received no clarification, I would have appreciated being guided to send the request through Booking instead of being blamed at arrival. Only when I said I was willing to leave if there was truly a problem did the host start helping, request the dog payment (which I did right away), and resolve the issue. I felt the treatment was targeted, so I don’t believe other guests would necessarily have the same experience. That said, the property itself was beautiful and comfortable, and it is worth considering if you are looking for a quiet place to rest.

La terraza con vistas al mar impresionante

A great beachside flat. The terrace facing the water is incredible and what really sets it apart; you feel like you are in the sea at times and nipping down to the beach for a swim is seconds. Views down to Denia and up to Cullera (?) are lovely and the colours of sunset over the Med in this neck of the woods are something special. In the afternoon you have a quiet back terrace to sunbathe if you like while the front is thankfully more shady after about 11. The dawn from the front is incredible though. The flat itself is large and well laid out. Nice kitchen and good shower. The communication with the host was easy, fast and informative. The beds are really comfortable and the level of cleanliness was great; the sheets still smelled line fresh when we were leaving. Close to a couple of nice resturants and a supermarket just at the end of the road makes life at the beach really easy and convenient.
