Friendly homestay experience in Skopje, but with complete privacy

Adem and his mother are superb hosts and extremely keen to ensure that their guests - in this case me - are well looked after and have everything they need. They are also very nice and hospitable people, interested in their guests and they radiate a lot of warmth and kindness. I had a very comfortable stay, slept very well in the bed and had everything in the room I needed for my time in Skopje. However, it's not the place itself but the people I'll remember, and I honestly think you'd struggle to find more accommodating hosts. Totally recommended - oh, and if it looks like it's a little way out from the centre, it's really not that far. I walked the whole way from the bus station (though there is a direct bus to within 2 minutes of their place) and the area where they live, known as Čair, is interesting and felt very authentic. Maybe 10-15 minutes walk from the Old Bazaar.

The bathroom is a bit basic, but it does the job. I had no complaints.

El anfitrión era una persona muy amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar, así como su madre. Estuvieron siempre pendientes y disponibles para resolver nuestras dudas. Y felices de invitarte a un café. Llovió y nos dejaron 2 paraguas. Además tiene un pequeño patio/ jardín en el que se está muy a gusto. En nuestro caso nos facilitó las cosas porque somos cicloturistas y pudimos dejar las bicis ahí. Él habla muy bien castellano. Cuenta con una cocina, pequeña pero suficiente para hacerte el desayuno y prepararte alguna comida. Con frigorífico y una placa eléctrica que es muy rápida.

Lo que menos nos gustó fue el baño, que era pequeño y para ducharte tenías que tener bastante cuidado de no mojar las cosas.

Lo mejor de mi viaje a Macedonia

Lugar muy acogedor y céntrico. Al lado del Old market en una zona muy tranquila. El apartamento cuenta con todo lo suficientemente para hacer la estancia cómoda pero sin duda lo mejor del lugar es la familia anfitriona. Son encantadores y hacen todo lo posible para que te sientas como en casa, son personas increíbles.. Fue tan bonita mi estancia que sin duda volveré a visitarles. Muchas gracias por todo Adem y mamá!! Saludos desde España. ¡Volveremos pronto! ❤

Odaları pırıl pırıl kaldıgım 4 gecelik sürecte ev sahipleri annesi ile oglu adem okadar temiz kalpli insanlarki aileden biriymişim gibi hissttirdiler beni kaldığım süreçte ve dönerken ayrılmak istemedim bir gezginci olarak ben çok memnun kaldım sizlerde mutlaka öneriyorum kaldınız sürede neden önerdiğimi anlayacaksınız adem ve annesine gösterdikleri ilgi ve alakalarından dolayı çok teşekurlerimi iletiyorum herkese iyi tatiller 🥰🥰🥰

Pravi odmor u Skoplju

Soba je bila vrlo ugodna za odmor i miran san. Odlična lokacija, dosta lokalnih fast foodova, pekara I lokalnih kafića u blizini. Super lijep vanjski prostor za sjedenje i odmaranje u večernjim satima. Centar je udaljen 20 minuta hoda ili 9 minuta autobusom. Omjer cijene i kvalitete je zaista odličan. Adam i njegova porodica su bili nevjerovatni. Vrlo skromna i gostoprimljiva porodica. To je bio jedan neizostavan detalj sa mog putovanja. Ukratko, iznimno iskustvo koje toplo preporučujem svim posjetiteljima koji svrate u Skoplje.
