The Block by CozySuites

Great location and the room was nice.

The hallway leading to the room was kinda of filthy and dark. Kinda smelly. I’m sure the owners have the rental have little to do with that but of course it still impacted my stay. Also the bed and couch were certainly cheap and fairly uncomfortable. Not terrible though.

Location close to convention center, restaurants, city attractions. 24 hour parking garage close by - please provide with confirmation so guest can make travel plans earlier if driving. Note main entry door is located on Market St vs Building address on Illinois. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had the basics needed - add a pair of scissors to open food packages would be nice.

Wifi - since a work trip great to have included but I could not get the wifi to come up as an option to select. So for me that was not a useable feature - I had to hotspot from my phone for work. Unit was clean but a little austere - a small shelf in the ensuite would be nice since just a pedestal sink - no where to set anything down while getting ready. Also recommend a little more seating - 1 chair and futon couch good for 2 people but might need more for 2 couples.

Apartment was great. Very clean up to date. Nice to have laundry in unit & available.

Parking cost. Definitely read everything about parking and the fees. I was busy and stressed and missed that parking garages cost so much. My own fault that I missed key details about the 'get approved prior to & then info will be sent as to the address and how to get in.' I was already stressed and having to send ID and check email etc just added to it. I do not like sending pictures of ID via the internet! And/but I understand the business side of it as well. It all worked out in the end.
