Dissapointed

According to booking.com, there is plenty of parking nearby. They fail to mention that it’s limited to a maximum of 3 hours and only for permit holders—except on Saturdays and Sundays. Fortunately, we were allowed to use the garage under the building. There is one parking spot available per apartment. We were helped kindly and immediately after calling cosyroomzz. Finding the building in the dark is quite a challenge. The check-in instructions are clear, but there is no lighting at the main entrance. Combined with a slippery staircase, that’s dangerous.

The photos give the impression of a high-quality apartment. Don’t be fooled by that. The interior is as cheap as possible and everything is practically falling apart. The single mattresses on all four beds are very poor — you can feel the springs through them. The balcony doors don’t lock. A good climber could easily get in from the outside. Everything else has already been mentioned by others, but the owner clearly isn’t doing anything about it. The towels are dirty and stained. Ours were folded on the bed while still wet. If you’re flying towards here, you won’t have some basic essentials with you. A dish brush, a tea towel, and maybe dishwasher tablets would have been nice. Or at least mention it in the listing, so you can bring it with you. We stayed here for a midweek with four people. There is a chair missing at the breakfast table, but cooking is nearly impossible anyway without proper dishes and utensils. For example, there are no pots, no bread knife, and no scissors.

Very disappointing.

Location isn’t great. Parking is available on the street so the car isn’t secure. However, there is underground parking which is for residents. Make sure you ask for it. Towels were dirty and the overall, the apartment didn’t feel clean. Hallway plaster board was also damaged which doesn’t fill you with confidence!

The mattress was not comfortable, absence of instructions for opening different gates forward or backward created delay in opening gates. Few more utensils such as pan and serving spoon would be helpful. No soap provided for dish washer and cloth washing machine.

Good location for Old Trafford & comfy beds.

Close to Old Trafford Cricket ground. It was very clean and 2 comfortable beds. The instructions sent were clear and when I rang them, they were very helpful.

Could do with bedside lamps in the bedrooms and a teatowel to dry the glasses etc. Don't let this put you off though, it's only a minor issue.

Great experience, would stay again!

The property was well looked after, clean and was in a good location for links into the city. The staff were helpful in finding us space to park and communicated throughout the stay. Overall, a good experience and I would stay again.

The blinds were damaged in the living area so brought in a lot of light and the toilet seat wasn’t fixed properly. But other than that, no complaints.

The property was very spacious and had every thing we needed (just a few little things missing eg oven gloves, tea towel). However, it had a dishwasher and washing machine which we didn’t need but was an added bonus especially if we had stayed longer. The beds were very comfortable. The location was ideal for cricket, the city, Trafford Centre and the Lowery using nearby Mertrolink, there was even a CoOp by the station.

Outer gate was broken and didn’t lock. However the inner doors were all secure.

This apartment lacked adequate facilities and cleanliness. Highly disappointing.

The location was great for our requirements. The apartment was a good size and easy to access, with lift access too. The ensuite shower was great. Ahead of our stay, the host was very helpful in responding to requests about parking our vehicle locally.

There was a lot of discarded rubbish around the stairs and entrance to the property. Both bathrooms had broken toilet seats and the toothbrush mugs were filthy. The one mirror provided was covered in dirty marks and hanging askew as there were insufficient hooks. The kitchen had plates and bowls, a microwave, kettle and toaster, also a hob-oven and large fridge/freezer which was great. However, there was insufficient cutlery (3 forks, 2 knives) and wine glasses (just 1) for the number of people staying and one small frying pan and saucepan making it all but impossible to use this kitchen - totally defeated the object really! I messaged the host during our stay to ask for more supplies for the kitchen so that we could cook but that was ignored. That said the oven was filthy so it didn't invite using it. The blinds in the sitting room/kitchen were broken so there was limited privacy. The bare lightbulbs and lack of bedside lamps in the bedrooms just smacked of laziness. In fact, the overriding sense is that minimal effort had been made for guests across the board.

A very nice stay in an exceptionally clean flat!

Fantastic , spacious and neat flat which would have got a 10/10 but it was really hot and there was no fan. The host was excellent, called immediately I complained about accessing the flat, knew the mistake I was making instantly and gave us directions on parking.

Bed sheets and towels were dirty. Shower was leaking. Pan was too small to cook with and there were no knives for cooking with (cutting produce). Resident in the area was shouting at night.

Modern clean apartment, not much not to like

Good sized, modern, clean apartment with almost everything we needed for an overnight stay prior to the half marathon. Instructions were detailed and easy to understand for locating/getting into the apartment and we were able to drop our bags early which was a bonus. Parking was free and available all weekend on City Road just a few hundred yards away from the block. Plenty of hot water in both bathrooms. Only a 20-25 minute walk into the city centre. Property was responsive to messages via email and text.

It was a warm evening and whilst the balcony doors could be opened to let in fresh air in the lounge, both bedroom windows only open a little way for safety so it would’ve been handy to have a couple of fans as when the bedroom doors were closed it was very warm. Mirrors in 1 bathroom and 1 bedroom weren’t on the walls. The only other things which I think would personally improve this apartment are a lamp in each bedroom and in the lounge, and possibly an extra chair or small settee as the settee doesn’t seat 4 people despite accommodating 4.
