Amazing Sea View Monte Rojo

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The location is excellent, with the beach only a 5-minute walk away. Since the apartment is situated higher up the hill, the balcony offers breathtaking views of the sea and the city, which we really enjoyed every day. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. He welcomed us warmly, gave us useful recommendations about the local area, places to visit, and things to do, making our stay even more enjoyable. Although we experienced an issue with the air conditioning during our stay in July, the host responded immediately and arranged two large fans for us, which helped a lot. We really appreciated his quick response and genuine effort to ensure we were comfortable. The nearby shopping centre is within walking distance and has supermarkets, restaurants, and everything you might need during your stay, making the location even more convenient. Overall, we loved the beautiful views, the peaceful surroundings, the convenient location, and especially the excellent hospitality. We would happily stay here again when visiting Gran Canaria.

There were only a few minor things that could be improved. The air conditioning was not cooling properly during our stay in July, which made the apartment warmer than expected. However, the owner responded quickly and provided two large fans, which helped a lot and showed great care. The living room could benefit from having a curtain on the balcony door, as the sunlight comes in quite strongly which makes the room very bright. Since the apartment is located on a hillside, reaching it requires climbing several flights of stairs from the main pedestrian lane. This was not a problem for us, but it could be challenging for guests with mobility difficulties or heavy luggage. Parking in the residential area can also be difficult during busy summer evenings, as available spaces are limited. We found it easier to park earlier in the day or use the nearby shopping centre parking garage. Apart from these small points, our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable.

great communication from Apartment reps. The apartment is spacious clean and had great facilities but no balcony. swimming pool is within walking distance and very clean. when we had an issue with the key it was resolved promptly

The apartment is located on a hillside which is only accessed up 110 steep steps.. not easy going up at night in the Dark! If we had known this we would not have booked it.. on the plus side it was a great work out three to four times a day!! We had issues with the Key Safe and door lock would recommend that a Thumb lock would be installed for fire safety. key safe needs to be replaced as numbers are worn. outside light not working.
