Het appartement biedt heel veel ruimte, alles is mooi en stijlvol uitgevoerd, het appartement heeft voorzieningen zoals tv met Netflix en een goede koffiemachine, en de locatie was prima. Op loopafstand is er al heel wat te beleven.

We hebben verscheidene basis artikelen zelf bij de supermarkt gekocht zoals lege vuilniszakken, keukenrol papier, een dweil voor op het aanrecht, en een extra theedoek. Tevens hing er geen handdoek in de keuken. Ook had het een makkelijke extra kunnen zijn als er bij aankomst al een grote fles water in de koelkast zou staan. Dit zou een fijn welkomstgeschenk kunnen op een warme dag, maar nu moesten we daarvoor eerst zelf naar de supermarkt lopen. Er staat buiten een stoplicht ter hoogte van waar de slaapkamer is, dus het is gehorig als er auto's of bussen optrekken bij het verkeerslicht en je op bed ligt met een geopend raam.

The location was excellent and exceeded our expectations. It was quiet, the light was beautiful in the morning and afternoon, and the proximity to Jardim da Ajuda next door was incredible. We appreciated the peace of the neighborhood and the lack of touristy vibe. The apartment is literally on the same street that will take you to Pasteis de Belem and all the major monuments and museums that Belem has to offer.

The apartment was so beautiful, and I felt let down and frustrated by the lack of basics to make the stay more comfortable and functional, like no oven mitts, kitchen towels (there was one, and it wasn't very absorbent), a non-functioning toaster that short-circuits the electricity to the apartment and lack of blankets for the bed or to cuddle on the sofa. Perhaps I'm bringing US expectations, but these small tweaks add to a comfortable stay. A welcome video or videos to explain how things work would go a long way. For example, to activate the light in the pubic hallway, you must click a switch on the right-hand wall when you walk in. You can also turn on a light outside your door, but this must be done from inside the apartment. We stayed for four nights and figured out things as we went along (like how to operate the blinds), but covering these basics for guests in advance could remove an unnecessary learning curve. What seems very basic for some can be completely novel for travelers coming from different countries. I think the biggest thing that can be improved is to set guests up for success. As owners or property managers, you know the area and property better than someone coming in fresh. Communicate the essentials, stock the comfort basics, and empower guests to make the most of their stay.

Position. Very good appliances. Large bed.

We reported a Broken dining chair on our arrival which was not attended to during our 17 night stay. Only 3 mismatched water glasses and 3 mismatched coffee cups. We requested to have more of each provided but this was not seen to during our 17 night stay. Poor quality of cutlery and limited amount of each piece. Lack of basic kitchen supplies ie. salt , pepper ,oil etc. Lack of basic kitchen utensils and crockery, chipped and damaged . What was provided was sub standard and damaged. We selected this apartment because it is close to where our family live in Belem. Because of the unacceptably poor quality of the items we were not able to have our family for meals etc. Ironing board was covered by a large coffee stain and was virtually unusable. Ill fitting sheets and very thin duvet. Towels of very poor quality and very worn with holes.
