Great location to explore the surrounding countryside, handy to have parking at a reasonable rate. Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful.

The extractor fan didn’t work in the room and it was freezing cold. Radiators we’re turned off during the night the temperature went below 0 degrees.

Excellent location. We stayed in a family room and this was a good size and was priced very fairly. Shower was excellent, we had a slight issue with the loo not working properly but this was dealt with promptly and with the best that could be done considering it was New Years eve and 6.00pm. This did not affect our stay. The pizzas were very nice and a well stocked bar. Lulworth cove is a wonderful place to visit with good facilities with out being over crowded.

Great location near the beach in Lulworth Cove; you could see the sea from our window. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. The room was v clean & it was good to have tea/coffee facilities in the room.

The decor could be updated, especially the bathroom- our shower didn’t work (fine for me as I prefer a bath!) It was a shame there was no communal area /lounge to sit in after the bar closed at 9pm, as we were with a group of friends and wanted to socialise with them. This meant in the evenings we had to go out to the pub or go to bed!!

Definitely overpriced! The staff did mention they are doing a big refurbishment, however maybe until then lower the price. I was woken up from 4am because you can literally hear every step of other rooms and actual conversations, I could hear other rooms showering and flushing toilets. It was so loud it sounded as if it was in my room.

I thought breakfast could have been included in the price - that would have improved the value for money score.

The location is absolutely stunning and has a lot of visitors , the hotel has a small carpark but for some reason we were not allowed to use it , they did give us directions on getting a deal to park in a car across the road which was very busy I needed up parking in a muddy foiled in a over flow space.

There was no cooked breakfast suppled and the cost of the continental breakfast was too much for what going to be given we decided to go to another hotel for breakfast. The booking in was 16:00hrs ,although they did say we could leave bags in the hotel if needed. Check out time was early at 10;00hrs , so late in and forced out early

It had hot water

There wasn’t anything inviting or calming in this place we booked this for our 40th anniversary and it was ruined we booked 2 nights and cancelled as soon as we saw the place but the manager insist we stay as they wouldn’t refund the one night so had to stay the one night initially was two there were 2 lots of steep stairs to climb that led to a tiny attic room as no lift they then moved me to a floor lower but still was hard to climb went into room locks were falling off the door the sash windows the sash was broken and cut just left dangling and a piece of wood laid on top to prop the window open so you could let air in which was totally dangerous as no air con the bathroom was so tiny I couldn’t climb into bath to get a shower so had to have a wash instead they still tried to tell me it was suitable for a disabled person there was a tv stood on a table that you couldn’t see from bed there was a bracket on wall for tv but it wasn’t on it It was supposed to be sea view but you could barely see the sea outside the steps were uneven and on a hill again hard to walk up and half the hand rail missing there was a spot outside to park on a steep hill very tiny or you had to park over the road at the car park it should come with a warning for disabled it was the worst experience and totally ruined our anniversary the manager Amy when I spoke to her the next day before I left said put it in writing and don’t say I told you when I mention how dangerous it was that windows had a piece of wood to prop it open they took over a week to refund my other night

Everything was extremely lovely! The staff, the view, the room itself, the atmosphere... Loved it totally, worth every pound!

Nothing serious. As a point for improvemen would say that the windows were a bit dirty to watch at this beautiful view. Also the breakfast was a bit too poor, but we managed to get full without any problems 👌

Location

Room was full off bugs flying and walking all over the place, we told to the receptionist and he came with a repellent and sprayed in the whole room and took ages for that smell to go also we had to open all the windows and bug came in again, no food in the evening and we had to drive to Poole to find something for our kid. Ohh no A/C in the room 👎

Great convenient location, lovely breakfast room, very friendly staff, good easy-to-use assistance with paid parking arrangements.

Paint peeling in bedroom, water dripping from ceiling during the night. Expensive but it was bank holiday and the prime location was worth it.

Close to the beach front

Lots of steps and steep entrance. Not suitable for people with injuries or the elderly

Super friendly staff, helpful and attentive, loads of space to read and play games and just chill out, superb sun terrace, great selection of books and games, easy going and friendly atmosphere, other guests were also friendly considerate and good fun.

Breakfast could have been better quality. Shower v small.

Breakfast was good- continental for £9.50 Nice fresh fruit , good coffee. Breakfast room open plan with lovely view . Big terrace with table and chairs. Quiet and peaceful. Nice after the hustle and bustle down at the beach front. Parked the car and walked in the village . Beach 200 m from hotel. But yet far enough away to be quiet . Rooms are basic but all you need for a beach stay. Staff helpful and friendly . Will definitely return

Amazing views and wonderful location.. Fantastic views from both bedroom and from breakfast conservatory. Only 4 mins walk from the beach and in lovely village. Helpful and friendly staff.

Our room was particularly cramped, barely able to move around two single beds and slanted roof made even harder. Other rooms looked more spacious though - maybe we just had the last (and smallest) room available. Simple breakfast was £9.

The staff were all so helpful and kind. Location was perfect.

Price of breakfast. However the selection of continental was excellent.

Position marvellous

Amy, the Manager. She was helpful, went over and beyond and so friendly. She was what made our stay worth the while.

The WiFi was bad, they didn’t have any dinner or lunch options, the walls are so thin, you can hear nearly everything through the walls.

This hotel is all about location and very expensive for what you actually get, Carpets are filthy in the room and going up the stairs

The location was very good. The new seating area outside was nice and nice comfortable big bed.

The hotel needed some tlc. The reception and breakfast area seemed freshly renovated but the rest felt a little neglected. Tear on the carpet on the staircase, paint chipping off. The WiFi in our room was pretty bad and the shower rail fell down. We would have expected some type of financial gesture for the inconvenience( drinks on the house or breakfast) but that didn't happen. The rooms were also very badly isolated so could hear people talking etc. It's a nice enough stay but not for the price advertised. Breakfast was OK

Exceptionally hospitable welcome, nothing was too much trouble; very clean, fresh and comfortable room, relaxing and calm atmosphere, well balanced variety of food for the continental breakfast and magnificence location. We are definitely looking forward to visiting this hotel again and recommending it to friends and family.

Lovely hotel, perfectly placed in Lulworth Cove! Amy welcomed us with a full heart and kindness (particularly as my little lad was super excited and just running around the place), Amy helped keep him entertained / contained whilst we checked in and sorted out the parking discount. We will certainly be back !

The hotel had lovely rooms and guest dining / seating area overlooking the sea and the hills. The only comment would be that in the heatwave fans were needed and also a proper coffee machine. Two things that would not put us off returning.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, and 5 minutes walk from the cove with coastal walks nearby. Close to shops and pubs. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We took our dog with us and they kindly supplied dog towels and bowls. Rooms have the usual tea and coffee making facilities. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that.

The location was amazing. Perfect for what we wanted to visit. The staff was really friendly, and the customer service was really good. We did not have breakfast there, I believe they do offer a continental option, but for hot food the reception team gave us some recommendations. They allow us to check in early, which we highly appreciated. Parking was brilliant for us, just across the street and we paid £10 for 2 days. It is a bit of a walk but it was fine, You can park at the hotel for a quick luggage drop off. We would definitely come back next year, hoping they fixed a few things

Frustratingly low pressure in the shower, and the mattress was not that comfortable. It was sinking, I believe was the divan underneath the mattress broken, which made sleeping not that comfortable. The floor and doors were a little squeaky as well. all this fixed and everything perfect
