The host was super friendly and helpful, and was always reachable by WhatsApp to assist us which we really appreciated. The apartment was spacious and had lovely views of the river. It was centrally located close to the west bus station and easily walkable to the old town.
One thing that is not particularly clear from the listing is that this apartment is not located in a normal apartment building, it is actually within a semi abandoned mall that is open at all times (ie there is no reception or lockable foyer area). In saying that, the neighbourhood felt safe and the front door to the apartment had a very secure lock. Some minor cleanliness issues (beds did not have a top sheet or washable duvet cover, just blankets) and there was a dirty towel in the wardrobe when we arrived.
