Kalkan Merkezde Havuzlu Apart

Great apartment for my week’s stay in Kalkan. Lots of room for me. Lovely, stylish apartment with modern appliances and furnishings. Excellent host who checked in with me on arrival and contacted me via WhatsApp on departure. Apartment is not far from a supermarket - approx 7 minute walk. Street is pretty quiet.

Unfortunately, there was a dog next door that constantly barked throughout the night, every night. Luckily I had ear plugs. Where the apartment is situated, it does not get a lot of sun. Perhaps 4 hours max. There is hardly any room to sunbathe. Fine for one person but not more than two. Also, during my stay there were two days of unprecedented amounts of rain which started to seep through the stone wall and through one of the blocked up windows. No problems if it’s going to be sunny though!

В данном объекте мы не нашли глобальных минусов! Из плюсов: 1. Хозяева - супер, спасибо им большое за гостеприимство! 2. Сами апартаменты полностью соответствуют описанию, в них есть все для комфортного проживания - от бытовой техники и до хозяйственных принадлежностей, все было. 3. Посуда - разнообразная, есть небольшой минус, но о нем отдельно. 4. Бассейн, он не большой по размерам, но он глубокий и чистый, всегда. 5. Чистота в апартаментах - идеальная! 6. Функциональность - для пары идеально, для семьи с детьми, могут быть неудобства. 7. Т.к. мы не пользовались городскими пляжами, то не могу сказать как долго до них идти, до центра города идти минут 10 неспешно, разными маршрутами. Рядом есть супермаркет Мигрос, несколько ресторанов, до улицы с ресторанами и супермаркетами идти минут 5-7

Минусы, они есть, но скорее всего индивидуальные: 1. Посуда - нужна нормальная сковородка и нож, он один и небольшой. И лично мне не хватило большой кружки для кофе и чая, это просто привычка, крупных кружек я в Турции в продаже не видел. Это не минус - но укажу, чтоб было понимание - это апартаменты на первом этаже в пристройке частного дома, поэтому собственники будут жить постоянно рядом, кому то это может быть как минус, нам не мешало. Бассейн при этом является как бы общим, но кроме нас им никто не пользовался, но при этом Вы можете быть на виду у собственников:)) Также у собственников есть собака, кому то это может быть минус, т.к. это собака, довольно крупная и она не немая:))

We stayed at this beautiful apartment for 10 nights and loved it. The owners are a lovely family who live in the main house and made us feel so welcome, they couldn’t do enough for us. The quality and cleanliness of the apartment is outstanding, full of character and very cosy with plenty of space. There is a full, fitted kitchen of excellent standard. Filtered water is provided for drinking. The air conditioning in the bedroom and living area is very effective. The bathroom is of equal quality with a powerful walk in shower. The private pool is larger than most local pools and well maintained. The pool is very deep and perfect for a relaxing day at home, the sun is on the pool all day. The apartment is located within walking distance downhill of The Old Town and Harbour, the local taxi service is amazing and excellent value. Two excellent supermarkets are within walking distance that stock everything you will need.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the apartment . There is however limited space to lay in the sun around the pool, we purchased inflatable loungers and relaxed on these in the water.
