Hygiene awful. The property hadn’t been cleaned with the sheets and filthy remanence of the previous guests spread throughout. Owners were unresponsive. It’s taken 162 hours to find an unsatisfactory resolution.

A great house for a short break.
Beautiful building in a perfect location. Very comfortable. We had a great stay and loved our time in the property.
Nitpicking, but certain things were lacking compared to all other homes we have stayed in. Little things like having salt and pepper in the house would have been nice. We arrived late and a bottle of milk in the fridge would also have been appreciated.. Also, there were no cleaning products in the house. It would have been nice to have been able to give it a proper wipe down before we left.

A perfect place to explore from
Great location in the middle to Lynton - plenty of space for a family of five - we loved the 5 mile walk from Lynmouth along the river then up through the woods and back along the coastal path.
The property is lovely but very open plan and there’s zero sound insulation! It was a bit of a shock to discover how expensive it is to park your car in Lynton. There is no free parking. Thank goodness we managed to share two cars. It would have been helpful to know in advance where to buy the parking tickets. It is £15 for two days and £25 for up to a week.
