Authentiek huis in Dordogne. Prachtige omgeving, zeer rustige ligging en er is veel te ontdekken. Snel en fijn contact met verhuurder, zij gaven ook goede tips. Zwembad heerlijk. Alles is aanwezig in keuken. Prima bedden. Ruime slaapkamers met eigen badkamer. Bijzonder en mooie inrichting

Wonderful location in the ‘Forest of Sarlat’ ideally located within a few minutes drive from most of the Dordogne region’s highlights. A large characterful house full of fascinating artefacts from around the world, collected by the host over many years. The accommodation was perfect for our multi generational family of five - three adults and two young children. Although the house itself was very well equipped in every way, the swimming pool was definitely the highlight, as we were lucky enough to have a perfect week of hot sunny weather in the mid 30s. Although the pool is not heated, it benefits from direct sun all day and was a very comfortable water temperature throughout our stay in the last week of May. It is a modern pool with quality paving in a spacious, private setting. The water is purified with an Oxygen system (neither chlorine nor salt water) so clean and odour-less as well as environmentally friendly. There are several eating areas, main dining room, kitchen table, patio by the kitchen door, outdoor lounge area with barbecue (not featured on the website - see last photo) as well as the swimming pool table. We received a very warm welcome from Danielle, the charming host, and have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation.

Quite a minor point, but the access to the pool is over a low stone wall, via a sloping grassy bank behind the house. Although we had no problem with it, could possibly be a challenge in wet weather for people with mobility issues.

De lieve ontvangst en de fantastische locatie. Prachtig zwembad en super huis voor ons. Genoten van de gastvrouw en familie . Wij houden hier hele warme herinneringen aan over. Soms kom je zo’n bijzonder plekje tegen.
