Friendly. I went in a low season so was super quiet and attentive. Breakfast was amazing! Some friendly pets to keep you company. Helped with everything you need. The sunsets are to die for and in the perfect location to watch it fall into the sea every night! Perfection.
Beach beds just need updating and few bugs in the pool but the sea is a stones throw away so I spend more time in the sea!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but I wouldn't describe the place as exceptional or great, despite some of the glowing reviews. It offers good value for the price, so it's best to arrive with realistic expectations. It might be a good option for a short stay (3 days). The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean. The food selection is very limited, but everything we tried was fresh and tasty.
Unfortunately, there aren't many good restaurants nearby. A few things to keep in mind: the rooms face one another rather than the sea. While comfortable, they are sparsely furnished, with few chairs or surfaces for storing personal belongings. On weekends, the beach became quite crowded.
We stayed in three different places in Zanzibar, and this was the area we liked the least.
