Very unpleasant experience, stay away

Review for Specious Home, Tilburg We booked this place three months in advance (on August 3rd) for our daughter’s graduation on November 3rd. The location and photos looked perfect — close to the university, highly rated, and very promising. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different. The property looked more like a neglected dormitory. The bed sheets and linen seemed unchanged, with visible hair on them. The air conditioner was extremely noisy, there was no heating or ventilation in the bathroom, and the corridor looked like a construction site. The patio was unusable. We contacted the host, who admitted the issues and offered cleaning at 4 p.m. — right when we had to get ready for the ceremony. We couldn’t stay under these conditions and had to book another hotel at the last minute. Although the host agreed our reasons were valid, we received only a partial refund (€91.17 out of €471.30). The property is not as shown or described, and this was a major disappointment. I hope this review helps future guests make a more informed choice.

Prachtige ruime accomodatie op een prima plek dichtbij de supermarkt.

Ruimte, heerlijke bedden, fijne keuken en badkamer.

Dat andere gasten telkens dicht langs je raam lopen om hun vuilnis in de kliko in de tuin te gooien. Dat je de tuindeuren niet vast kunt zetten als je ze open wil hebben voor frisse lucht. Als het iets waait moet je erg oppassen dat ze niet kapot klappen.

Personalul nu a fost cum ma așteptăm , check in ul nu se face cu niciun min mai devreme indiferent dacă camera este gata , cer foarte multe date personale și ești monitorizat NON stop de camere . Eu am fost in vacanța și am prieteni aici am avut 2 prieteni care m au vizitat și am fost amenințată cu poliția și anulată rezervarea pt ca am stat 30 min in liniște și am mâncat o pizza cu prietenii mei .

Als Familie mit Kind, 5 Übernachtungen ist es ein Tolles Apartment und einen Besuch wert.

Super nagelneues Apartment mit guter Lage. Perfekt für einen Besuch in Efteling. Supermarkt direkt gegenüber. Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit auch wenn nicht alles funktioniert hat.

Normales TV funktioniert nicht. Nur SmartTV für den Accounts von Netflix etc. notwendig sind. Apartment war bei Ankunft nicht gereinigt. Es waren bei Ankunft keine Infos zu Wifi, TV vorhanden. Wir mussten alles telefonisch erfragen. Es war 4 Tage niemand in der Lage uns zu erklären warum das normale TV nicht funktioniert. Wir wurden immer auf morgen vertröstet.
