Top floor studio condo in the heart of Fort Walton Beach's Pirates’ Bay with panoramic views of the Santa Rosa Sound and distant gulf view. Short drive to Okaloosa Island with several public beach access parks with free parking. 2 miles to The Boardwalk at Okaloosa Island and Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park. 7 miles to Destin HarborWalk Village. Gulf fishing at the Okaloosa Island Pier or bay fishing at the on-site condo marina. Amazing community pool! BBQ grill at the shared picnic area.

My 4-night stay at Pirates' Bay was overall very enjoyable. The condo was nice, clean, and located on the 4th floor with a beautiful view overlooking the pool and dock. I also appreciated the easy access to the unit with the keypad door lock, which made check-in and entry very convenient.
The area felt safe and was in a great location close to restaurants, shopping malls, and a movie theater, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area.
There were a few drawbacks to the room itself. The space was smaller than expected and did not provide much room for visiting guests. The room also felt somewhat dark, and adding a lamp or light fixture near the sofa or balcony entrance would improve the lighting significantly. Additionally, the description should have noted that the bed was a full-size bed with a top bunk attached, and the ladder to the top bunk made the living area inconvenient for moving around in the room. The bottom bunk bed was also quite squeaky.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a great location and nice amenities, but a few updates and clearer room descriptions would make the experience even better.

Nicely updated room. Host was courteous and communicated promptly. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.
