About this house rental
It’s just a TWO MINUTE WALK to the beach and the wide walking paths along the beach! We purchased this lovely lake home in 2024, and carefully renovated it with every comfort for the discerning traveler in mind. The home is 4-season and nestled into the trees of a quiet neighborhood along the shores of Lake Winnipeg.
The kitchen, dining room and living room are spacious and open-concept. The house has air conditioning, and for the cooler days, the living room has a wood-burning fireplace. The kitchen is well stocked with every type of pot, pan, bowl or utensil you would require. A starter kit of Keurig pods will be in the pantry, along with a large selection of tea, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and a some spices. There is a small office area with desk in the kitchen. Wifi is provided by Starlink.
Each bedroom has fresh linens and towels, down comforters and its own electric heat control. As well, they have ceiling fans.
A large 3-season sunroom spans the front of the house. With a sitting area at one end, and a table and chairs at the other end, it is the perfect place to sit and relax.
From the sunroom, step out onto the side deck which has a Adirondack chairs, a gas barbecue and a herb garden. Or from the front door, go down a few stairs to the brick patio at the front of the house. There are Adirondack chairs here as well.
The back yard is private, well-treed and fully fenced, The outdoor dining table has 6 chairs. A firepit is in the back yard with a stack of firewood; more wood is available at the local convenience store. There is a deck box in the back yard with beach chairs and a wagon to take your possessions down to the beach for the day. A kayak is available for your use. Beach towels are also provided.
Sandy beaches, miles of walking and biking trails and in winter, ice fishing. You might just say our beach town is the perfect vacation spot!

This is a beautiful property, honestly the photos don’t do it justice. Sheree and Cheryl are very responsive and hospitable hosts. I stayed here in preparation for my wedding a street over and I would recommend anyone stay here!

We had a great week at the seaglass cottage. The hosts left a lovely welcome basket for us to enjoy and the house was so clean when we arrived. We also loved that the check out process was simply making sure all the dishes were in the dishwasher and to put the garbage outside. It was such a nice change from all the properties we’ve stayed at in the past that essentially want you to reset the house for them before they come clean. The sunroom was the highlight for me and the kayak was the highlight for my kids. Thanks so much for such a great stay!

I really loved the open concept of the cottage. Was very clean. Everything they provided in the kitchen was well organized. The front deck and the backyard were great. Big fire pit with comfortable chairs and firewood.
Could not have asked for a better cottage to have my family visit.
Will definitely be back next summer

Super clean, spacious, updated cottage. Well-stocked and well-maintained. There were only two of us, but lots of seating and places to hang out for a larger group. Lovely quiet walkable neighbourhood. Very close to the lake and the summer piers. Easy short drive to Winnipeg Beach. Highly recommend!
