CancellationTerms and Conditions
According to DTV - Once a binding lodging contract has been concluded, the following applies:
Once booked, it is booked.
Neither party may unilaterally withdraw from the contract, regardless of the reasons for cancellation (exception: force majeure). Bad weather, illness, and even a death in the immediate family do not justify withdrawal from the contract. However, the parties may agree to a mutual termination of the contract at any time. In this case, the landlord/hotelier may demand payment from the guest of the agreed-upon or standard rental rate, less any expenses saved as a result. The timing of the withdrawal is irrelevant in this regard. Even if the guest cancels the lodging contract, for example, six months before the planned arrival, they remain obligated to pay the agreed-upon or standard rental rate. However, the landlord/hotelier must deduct any expenses saved from their claim. Case law recognizes a flat rate of 10 percent of the accommodation price as a reasonable estimate of the value of expenses saved when renting a vacation apartment or vacation home.
Check-in is possible from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00, and check-out is from 2:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
