This tranquil haven on a working farm is perfect for nature lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with modern comforts. Beautifully laid out over a single level, the living space is sociable and open plan, with just a couple of steps leading up to the bedroom. Guests will appreciate the warm hospitality of the farm owners who live onsite. Friendly resident dogs, cockerels, and free-roaming chickens enhance the authentic farm experience. Mornings start with the gentle crowing of cockerels, and days end with stunning, far-reaching views over the surrounding landscape.
Located on the Tame Valley Loop, guests are invited to explore right from the doorstep on foot or by bike, with secure bike storage available. Using mostly off-road tracks, there are three routes to choose from, depending on your skill level: 3.5, 10, or 18 miles in distance. After your adventure, indulge in some food and drinks at the 17th-century country inn, just a mile down the road. You can also challenge yourself with the Stalybridge Three Peaks, explore Swineshaw or Dovestones Reservoir, or enjoy a picnic at Stalybridge Country Park. Ashton Under Lyne Golf Club is within easy reach, and the vibrant city of Manchester is a mere 15-minute train journey from Stalybridge (2 miles). The Peak District National Park also beckons with its stunning landscapes, hiking trails, and quaint villages. We found the Farmhouse retreat to be very clean, modern, private, safe and secure accommodation. The location of property gives easy access to Manchester, the Peak District, Yorkshire, Lancashire and South Wales. We would highly recommend staying in this gorgeous property. The hosts were a very nice couple that made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We would definitely return without hesitation.

Sara & Paul’s place was amazing. Home away from home, it’s safe with beautiful surroundings. Inside it is comfortable and clean with fast wifi - with everything you need to sit back relax and enjoy your break.Sara was at hand at all times of the day for any questions or help, her and paul were very welcoming and friendly, always shooting a wave or a hi when they seen me entering or leaving.If I could move in permanently I would!
