A luxury 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom short term let house sitting on a quiet lane just moments from Kensington High Street.
Area: This property is situated on a quiet lane, just a 3-minute walk from Kensington High Street. There are many restaurants within short walking distance, such as The Ivy, Dishoom, Maggie Jones’s Restaurant, and Ffiona’s. There are also many coffee shops, tea rooms, and cafés within short walking distance. The public transport is excellent as High Street Kensington tube station is a 5 minute walk away and there are frequent busses.
Accommodation: Ideal for larger groups traveling for pleasure or work, and needing somewhere to stay in London, this luxury vacation rental home in Kensington is spread over 4 floors with enough space for six guests to stay. The ground floor consists of an open-plan kitchen and dining room with a bedroom, utility area, and study area off the sides. There are glorious glass doors in the dining area leading out to the beautiful patio with excellent quality outdoor furniture. Upstairs is the large reception area on the first floor. The master bedroom with en-suite can be found on the second floor and the other bedrooms are on the third floor.
Decoration: Chic and modern decoration
Reception: The reception room is the perfect place for families to gather after a long day of exploring London. Natural light fills this space as there are two large windows next to each other. One end of the room has three armchairs and a loveseat surrounding a coffee table and the other end has a comfy L-shaped sofa and a smart TV. Against the walls you can find a piano, a guitar, and a large bookcase filled with books, ensuring you will never run out of entertainment in this home.
Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances; hob/oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer with an ice and water dispenser in the door. Recently added is an expandable dining table and 6 new Kartell Masters chairs.

Bathrooms: The ground floor bathroom has a shower (fixed and flexible shower heads), toilet, and sink The second bathroom on the 2nd floor has a bathtub (handheld showerhead), shower (fixed rainfall and flexible showerheads), toilet, and double sink The third bathroom on the 3rd floor has a shower (fixed and flexible showerheads), toilet, and sink. It's adjacent to and shared by the two single bedrooms
Tube: High Street Kensington is a 5-minute walk away with Circle and District lines. Notting Hill Gate is a 10-minute walk away with the Central, Circle, and District lines.

3 Dukes Lane will forever by a part of my family’s memories of our first trip to London. The location was excellent near both the tube and bus stops. Numerous groceries, restaurants and shops literally around the corner. The house is in a quiet corner near a church yet close to everything. Whole Foods is nearby but we preferred the UK’s Sainsbury’s as much more affordable and even closer to house. The house is absolutely gorgeous with different floors for privacy. Note to Americans, London does not have AC except in large stores and some restaurants. The owners provided extremely powerful Dyson fans throughout that were welcomed. The outside patio is private, cool and so quiet. There is a fully equipped kitchen and laundry as well. The beds were clean and comfortable and the pictures just do not do the house justice. When you arrive, the owners can schedule airport pickup that takes you directly to the house where the keys await. We loved the living room/family room with the two separate sitting areas. Our only regret was that we started the 500 piece beautiful puzzle too late in the trip and could not finish it in time. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We absolutely loved this house. Fabulous location convenient to Kensington High Street and tons of restaurants, grocery stores and tube stops. More than enough space for 5 of us with an ample, well-stocked kitchen and laundry. So many luxury details on top of all that. And Cyril (a taxi driver they know) was such a treasure!

We loved our week staying at Kensington Mews over Christmas with our family. The house is really lovely, very comfortable for all 6 or us and well equipped. We even cooked Christmas dinner there! The location is fantastic and so central, making it easy to access transport, shops, cafes and restaurants. The host was very helpful, providing plenty of information and organising our transfers. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend.
