It’s about a 10-minute walk to the Böhl Lighthouse. From the dike, you can stroll through the foreshore to the beach; if you have difficulty walking, you can also take the local bus to Böhl Beach—it’s even free with the visitor’s card.
You can go shopping in the Dorf neighborhood; there’s a weekly market on Wednesday mornings, and restaurants and cafes invite you to linger.
The Westereck vacation rental
is located at the back of the house and offers a lovely vacation home for a family of four and a dog.
The first floor features a separate kitchen, a guest restroom, and the living room with access to the patio and the large, sunny garden.
There is plenty of beach furniture and garden furniture available.
You can reach the upper floor via the staircase in the hallway. There are two separate bedrooms—one with a double bed and one with two single beds—as well as a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and window.

Wi-Fi is available; this is a non-smoking apartment; one dog welcome upon request for a fee; the first floor has tile flooring, fly screens, a parking space on the property, and bicycles can be parked in the garden.
It has been agreed with the owner that the neighbor may take his bicycles through the garden to his patio!
The garden property is fenced (not dog-proof); please do not leave your dog unattended in the garden and please clean up after your dog.
