Imperial Westminster Horseferry Apartments

The location can’t be beat! Really lovely part of town, pretty close to stations, really close to Regency Cafe. Layout of the place is nice- very clean and welcoming. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was very well-stocked with cups and dishes.

It really needs some TLC. Not major reno work necessarily, but repairing the windows (ropes are fraying), fixing the soap fixtures in the bathroom (breaking under weight of the soap), replacing the broken fan in the front room, ensuring that both bedroom doors can close as one physically cannot shut as it doesn’t fit into the frame. The stairs were a bit uneven, and it was hard to notice due to the carpeting.

The location was superb, just a very short walk from Westminster Abbey. It's really hard to find lodging in the Westminster area and this met our needs very well. Very clean and comfortable. The beds were great. We didn't cook in the full sized kitchen but greatly appreciated the tall refrigerator and washing machine. The apartment has two lovely upstairs bedrooms and the downstairs couch opened well for our teenager. The neighborhood was remarkably quiet, especially at night.

July is hot in London, and having air conditioning would have been nice, but many London places don't have air conditioning and the three portable fans and windows helped a lot.

Lack of cleanliness and very dated decor. Stains on furniture, dust in corners. Dust all over fans and hairdryer - looks like they’ve never been cleaned. Dishwasher over-flowing so unusable. Shower door very narrow.
