Our family had a wonderful stay here and felt at home from the moment we arrived. The owners were incredibly warm, kind, and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile and make sure we were comfortable. The property was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. What truly stood out was the homely atmosphere—it felt less like a hotel and more like staying with family. We are grateful for the hospitality and would happily stay here again.

We would like to share our wonderful experience at Moon Wind Homestay, which we booked through Booking.com. Moon Wind is a beautifully maintained homestay that offers two spacious bedrooms, a comfortable living hall, a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, and a balcony with pleasant views. The entire property was exceptionally clean, neat, and well-organized. The homestay is equipped with excellent Wi-Fi connectivity and a television for entertainment. The kitchen includes all the essential amenities such as a refrigerator, gas stove, toaster, water heater, oven, and sufficient utensils for cooking. The property also provides three room heaters—one in the living hall and one in each bedroom—making the stay warm and comfortable even during cold weather. A special mention goes to the property owner, Mr. Shash, an ex-Army officer and a true gentleman. He and his family extended a warm welcome and even invited us for high tea. We had the pleasure of meeting his wife, son, and their beautiful and playful dog. Their hospitality, warmth, and friendliness made us feel right at home. Mr. Shash was extremely helpful throughout our stay. He shared contact details of local travel agencies and other useful information, making it easier for us to plan our sightseeing activities. The property also has a caretaker who is always available to assist guests whenever needed. One of the major advantages of this homestay is its convenient location. A travel agency is located just 100 meters away, where visitors can book sightseeing tours and rent two-wheelers. There is also a restaurant directly opposite the property. Additionally, Moon Wind is situated only 1.5 kilometres from Mall Road, the bustling shopping and entertainment hub of mussoorie. Overall, our experience at Moon Wind Homestay was excellent, and we highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Mussoorie. The comfort, cleanliness, hospitality, and location make it an outstanding choice for travellers. Rating: 10
