Humble Home

The owner - I think his name is David - is very nice, very kind. The house stays cool on very hot days.

It’s not close to anything much that you could walk to. If the person in the room next to yours makes a phone call at 1:30AM, as what happened to me, you will hear every detail of both sides of the conversation since the walls are paper thin. The microwave needs to be cleaned!

I loved how easy it was to get in and out of the property!!

Such great hosts in an exceptional space! David and Jo were extremely helpful, and I can honestly say that Humble Home was the best place I stayed in my 4 week tour through Colorado, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming. I ended up staying here twice, and a total of 5 nights. I thought other reviewers might have exaggerated how helpful the hosts are, with chauffeur services, etc, but there was no exaggeration. The kitchen and living room space was large and clean, and the bedroom also.

The only downside of the accommodation was the shared bathroom, but this was clearly shown in the room description and is reflected in a very reasonable price/night.

I stayed here at the start (2 nights) and again at the end (3 nights) of a month long road trip through Colorado, Wyoming and other states. I stayed in nearly 20 different places during the month, and Humble Home was the best! As other reviewers have said, the hospitality was exceptional. David and Jo were so friendly and helpful and, if available, thought nothing of giving me lifts, for example to the nearest light rail station or to the airport. The accommodation was spacious and clean, and the kitchen was well equipped and available. Even though I was sharing a bathroom it was always clean and usually free.

The only slight negative - and I'm being extremely picky here - was that the rail line into the city of Denver was a 40 minute walk away, and the nearest selection of restaurants (within a massive Marriott complex) was about 20 minutes walk away. But these were tiny inconveniences when all the benefits of Humble Home are considered.
