The apartment was very clean and had a great view from the balcony. The air conditioning in three of the rooms was also a big plus, especially during hot weather. The kitchen was well equipped with useful utensils such as knives, cutting boards, a toaster, and more.

Unfortunately, there were quite a few things that made our stay less convenient. The advertised bathtub/hot tub was not available and had been replaced by a shower. The kitchen was missing some basic essentials such as salt, pepper, sponges, and other cleaning supplies. Since there was no dishwasher, having at least some sponges or similar items would have been helpful. There were also only two rolls of toilet paper provided for a two-week stay and no laundry detergent, so we had to buy all of these things ourselves. The location is quite remote, so we would not recommend staying here without a car. It takes at least around 20 minutes to reach a supermarket, the beach, or the city. The shower also had no holder for shower gel or similar items. Another issue was the lack of proper blackout curtains or blinds in the bedroom, meaning it stayed very bright and was not ideal for light sleepers. The electricity also went out quite frequently, especially when using the oven. This was particularly frustrating because cooking was repeatedly interrupted.

We enjoyed the picturesque setting high on the hilltops. It was clean and modern. The bed and furnishings were comfortable,and it had everything we needed.

The apartment is nice at first glance and has potential. The biggest advantage is the view from the balcony, which is truly exceptional in good weather. The kitchen is well equipped, and we also appreciated the Netflix. The apartment also appeared clean at first glance.

The biggest problem was undoubtedly the humidity and smell of mold. The air throughout the apartment was extremely humid – our dry clothes gradually became damp, and everything we left outside our bags began to absorb the smell. The mold was especially noticeable in the cabinets and drawers, but even the dishes in the kitchen had an unpleasant smell after being taken out of the cupboards. We understand that the apartment is located at a high altitude and that it is naturally humid there due to the frequent cloud cover. However, for precisely this reason, we would expect the apartment to be prepared for such conditions and to be equipped with a dehumidifier (which is not an expensive item in the 21st century). Mold and humidity are serious problems that pose a health risk and certainly should not be ignored. The air conditioning was also a problem. It itself smelled of mold and appeared not to have been serviced for a long time. In addition, condensation from the unit drips directly onto the balcony, so when we sat outside, we had a puddle at our feet. Another problem was that the electricity went out when several appliances were switched on at the same time. The host even sent us a photo of the electrical panel, which suggests that this happens relatively often and that an electrician should probably inspect it. It was very impractical that there was no clothes-drying rack in the apartment. The host explained that the previous guest had allegedly broken it. However, this does not change the outcome for us – the drying rack was unavailable, and no alternative was offered. Given the high humidity, drying clothes without a drying rack is a major problem, and using the washing machine or simply drying beachwear is quite difficult. Moreover, we consider it rather unprofessional that the host did not purchase a new drying rack, as it costs approximately 10 euros.
