Lovely host welcome.
Bedroom was bright, clean, comfortable, well decorated and had everything we needed and more.
Enjoyed the easy garden access and view from room.
Loved the ease of walking into Stamford and found it easy to catch a bus back.

overall was okay. my real issue was the broadband. I needed to finish work staff in the morning and there was no reception. Mobile connection was unstable. So i texted the landlady, told her that i need to work but there is no reception. Asked her if she can switched the broadband ON. Her response was exactly at check out time which was absolute failure (hours after my text). She told me where to find password-which wasn’t the question. So, i had very stressful morning because of it.
Not having internet connection when i needed the most and not having sorted in time.

The garden right outside the room was really nice. Also, there is an independent entrance through the garden, so you don't have to go through the house each time. The host was very, very nice.
The (shared) bathroom wasn't in great shape. The toilet didn't flush at all. Both my wife and I tried several times without any success. I ended up using a watering can (from the garden). But we were here only one day, and that wasn't a huge problem. If we stayed more than one day, I think I wouldn't be very comfortable with this.
