Happy Holiday House

Tutto ma veramente tutto!! Una casa grande e bellissima, accogliente, con una vista stupenda e molto vicina alla parte ovest della costa, con le prime spiaggie a circa 15 Min di macchina ( glyfada , kontogialos, yaliscari , agios gordios ecc.). La casa dei sogni praticamente, la signora Roula è una persona stupenda, ti accoglie come se fossi persona di casa, veramente gentile e disponibile, ho avuto la sensazione come se la conoscessi da anni. La casa è completa di tutto quello di cui si può avere bisogno una famiglia , per esempio Giochi per bimbi sulla terrazza, angolo giochi di società in casa, qualsiasi elettrodomestico, addirittura kit di ps ..insomma qualsiasi cosa è pensata in questa casa: noi ci siamo innamorati. Circondata dal verde degli ulivi in un paesino tranquillo. Addirittura abbiamo avuto il piacere di partecipare ad una piccola festa del paese con tanto di musica tipica greca, souvlkali e balli.. posizione molto vicina anche alla città di Corfù. Il top!

This is really Happy Holiday House.Let's start with the location.Varypatades is 10 min drive from Corfu so you have everything near but you are located on hill surrounded by small forest-absolute peace.The terrace is very big looking on Corfu and see.We had very nice sunsets and dinners over there.The apartment is new and decorated with taste.In real it is much more beautiful than in pictures.You have everything you can imagine(full kitchen,couple coffee machines etc.).Roula,her husband and her daugter welcomed us and treated us during stay like part of the family.We even recived gift at the end of our stay.True Greek hospitality where you feel like you are at home.If I could,I would rate our stay here with 20/10.Thank you once more for everything.

Happy Holiday House is in the quiet village (Varypatades) where The Durrells was filmed. This house was so perfect for us: immaculate, spacious, phenomenal views, fab air con, thoroughly equipped with everything we could think to want. Our hosts, who live below, were so warm and lovely and kind. They offered to take us on guided tours around the village with stories of traditions and history of the village and we walked to the adjacent village, through the lanes lined with olive trees, to a community entertainment event in the communal square. A phenomenal spot amongst the cicadas and lemon trees, lovely walks with spectacular scenery and a massive deck/verandah to view it all from. We ate our meals sitting under the shade on the deck with views of green across the island to the sea. Hire a car. There's also #18 bus route but you'll really need a car to see the island. And the nearest beach is about 15-20min drive.

Roula's house is impeccably clean, you will find absolutely everything you need and you will feel at home, has a wonderful view from the terrace, and is close to the city and the most beautiful beaches in Corfu. The location is quiet and is located at the entrance to a traditional Greek village, Roula and her family live on the ground floor of the house but offer you all the privacy you need. Thank you for your hospitality Roula and we will definitely return to Happy Holiday House.
