Friend host, good value for money, disappointing shower

Very friendly and accomodating host, good communication, very clean and tidy, useable kitchen.

Shower pressure was terrible, no locks for bathrooms, no adjustable room temperature, light for the bedroom was on the same circuit as the shared kitchen light so went on and off when kitchen light switched on and off.

Don't stay here!

The host was polite, but he was a complete stranger and I was not willing to put myself or my family at risk by staying here - see further review to understand why.

When booking this property consider who is staying there, to book the house you need to book all four rooms which is not clear from the description, if you don't the host will be staying with you in his room, upstairs in between the other rooms! There are no locks on the doors and the bathroom was shared. I was due to stay with my young family and felt so unsafe about staying we didn't even get out of the car and drove three hours home again! There are no safeguarding checks even though it's a business! Despite this the host refused to refund and booking.com cannot refund! Don't stay here unless you book the whole house!!
