Great stay in a beautiful cottage in a lovely town with plenty of shops, restaurants, attractions.

We were self catering and everything you could possibly want was provided at the cottage. The cottage was equipped and furnished to a very high standard. It was great to have two shower and toilet rooms, we split them into one each for family members which made it easier not having to remove toiletries and towels each time we used the bathrooms.

Nothing could be improved upon.

A lovely home in Tewkesbury

Really nice house, very comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked too. Great location for walking to town. There is one car park space just a minutes walk away but the car park is just along from there and was only £4 for a day, and free from 17:30-08:00.

In general the house was spotless apart from the glass lampshades that really needed a dusting. The bath towels could also do with being a bit bigger. The ones in my bedroom were half the size of the bath sheets I have at home, I’m a slim person and couldn’t fit one of these towels around me!

Location and parking. Beautiful home. Equipped with all you need. Tea & coffee which was so handy to have on arrival. Really responsive hosts. Planning to stay again next year!

A lovely place to stay and venture out from.

The property is in a great location alongthe banks of the river. A short walk into town and there is plenty of history to see along the way. All amenities are modern and easy to use. The property has been nicely modernised and is comfortable and fresh. It's closeness to the Cotswolds and other historic places is a bonus.

The biggest downside for our group was the steepness and narrowness of the stairs and having to negotiate them from the upper bedrooms to get to the bathrooms. We couldn't take our luggage to our rooms and had to leave them in the dining room. Whilst it was great to have free parking nearby it was a little unclear which parking space to use which lead to a mis-understanding with a local resident. Maybe a map showing the exact spot would be useful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riverside Cottage and may well return in the future.

The location was excellent - very quiet and with lovely views but also close to the town. The house was very clean, well-equipped and well presented. The information from the hosts was clear and detailed, both before the stay and the information provided in the house.

The staircases in the house are very steep and feel quite precarious, especially if you are carrying luggage up to the bedrooms. We didn't use the allocated parking space as it felt too small even for our medium size car. But the public car park was also very close and it was easy to park there.

Quiet and peaceful cottage

A very well equipped and comfortable cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location and also very convenient for the town. The outside space was also lovely for early evening relaxation. Communication with the owners was easy with comprehensive instructions provided.

Comfortable, Relaxing, Cottage was so close to the town but you would not know it.

It was so easy to get the key from the secure box. So we didnt have to bother anyone to enter the cottage.We found that Graham and Fiona were at hand if needed. The cottage was so amazing and close to town.

Gorgeous property in an excellent location

The location was beautiful - right on the canal front, you could see across Severn Ham from the front windows, and just a short walk from town. The property was in excellent condition and really well decorated. It was very clean with clear instructions from the host on how to use things. The hosts were very responsive and helpful when messaged. They left lots of useful things for us in the kitchen (salt and pepper, kitchen roll etc.). I'll definitely be staying again!
