Imagine you are part of a Portuguese middle-middle class (touching perhaps the upper boundary to the upper-middle) family and you live in Lisbon; you and your partner have good jobs, and you have 2 children: it is very likely that you would live exactly in a property like this one in exactly the same neighborhood or street and with exactly this level of comfort. I myself have 2 very good friends who live at walking distance from this property. In fact, if I planned to live with my family in Lisbon for, say, 5 or 6 months, I would immediately ask the owner of this property in order to rent it for the whole period. The whole property seems (I could bet) that it is ready to be photographed by a real estate agent who will then try to sell it. There is here no touristy feel, no "good enough for tourists" cheap things, nothing like that: the whole appartment is meant for an ordinary family to live an ordinary life in Lisbon. There is nothing specially relevant for tourism in the area - unless of course you would like to learn how average Lisbon residents live a life that is either average or slightly higher than that. In short: the quality of the premises and everything in the appartment is much higher than the usual level in properties that are meant for short-term tourism renting. All the window blinds were electric and worked perfectly well, all the windows were in good condition and closed perfectly well: when was the last time you saw that anywhere in Lisbon?! There was a perfectly functioning dish washer and two induction stoves! There were new electric heaters that actually worked. You entered the building and the appartment without using any keys are all or another cards at all. Unless you come from a rich family from a rich country, this place will be perfect for you and your family to spend easily months of life whether in pure tourism or in "normal life". The communication with the owner was super easy and he was completely accessible.

There was only one thing missing: the washing machine (for clothing).

The apartment is very nice. The mechanism to access the apartment was convenient, although we could not lock the door on the way out. The host was responsive.

There were no pans that were not destroyed Teflon. These should not be used as ingesting Teflon is hazardous. A single stainless steel pan would have been very useful. I understand they are expensive.
