The house was very well cleaned including the bathrooms and had all the comforts you would like to have. It felt like almost like your own summer home. Up to and during the stay the communication with the owners of the house was really easy and fast. They answered all our questions the same day.
When we arrived the air conditioning was not working but the next day it was repaired due to a power outlet the night before. Also a sink where the sink cork was stuck was handled the same day as I made the owners aware of it.
Me and my 2 17 year old children really enjoyed the house, nice to have a garden and a patio where you could sit in the shade. Also the pool area was really nice, there was enough sun beds and the pool was nice and clean. The parking garage was also nice to have so the car was not warm when we went for a drive.
We also enjoyed that the house was so centrally placed both so you could walk to town but also that there is a small supermarket in town and nice restaurants and pizza place. Gaiole in Chianti is really located centrally if you want to discover Tuscany, 45 minutes to Siena, 1 hour to Florence and 1 hour to San Giminano.
If walking is difficult for you, the stairs to the house can be a challenge, but otherwise, they provide good exercise. Also the house is located on a hill so the walk back to the house from the center of the town can be a good challenge.
