Such a lovely house. Rooms were spacious and welcoming. The beds were comfortable, plenty of heating. Lovely big bathrooms. Nice big fridge, washer and drier provided. Lovely deck, will have to book again in the summer next time. Really lovely atmosphere and a great location. Wonderful views too.

The property itself in size and layout, and the views, are amazing. Very clean general areas and bathrooms. Access via the back path or side path for suitcases etc. Easy to access the keys via the lockbox. Lots of garage space but only accessible by pressing the button inside. Great location and close to all amenities in St Helens. Plenty of cutlery and dishes, plates etc in kitchen.
The beds were very uncomfortable. So much so that I ended up going out to the loungeroom sleeping on the very comfortable couches instead. The shower in the amazingly big bathroom was very tiny. The dryer lint filter and washing machine filters had not been cleaned for quite a while so I cleaned them. Only two air conditioners in the whole space only in the main living areas (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs) and no fans in the bedrooms. There were no window coverings on the front large glass windows which meant no privacy from the neighbours at nighttime when lights were on. The door screen was quite old and falling apart leading out onto the balcony, letting flies in regularly if the glass door left open. The outside bin had not been emptied in quite some time and was full when we went to try and add our rubbish. We had to take our own rubbish bag into town to throw away and ended up putting the bin out on the roadside so that it will hopefully get emptied on the next rubbish day.
