We stayed for a full week in this very nice apartment. It is perfectly equipped, and from the enclosed balcony, there was a view of Etna and the sea (about a mile away). Also, it is very quiet at night, and during most of the day.
Not much to say here, really. For new visitors, it might be important to note that Giarre and Riposto (which is one continuous area) are not touristy at all, yet with their proximity to places like Etna and Taormina (and with a train station nearby), it's not really a problem.

The apartment was really well designed, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. It was nice having the conservatory area on the balcony and the additional balcony area that was open and gave a nice view of Etna on a clear day. The host was very warm and friendly. There was some noise from the garage below during the day, but we knew this would be the case in advance and this didn't bother us. There was always parking available in the nearby street.
