Ecstasea Corfu

The apartment was modern, very clean and nicely designed. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the kitchenette was useful for simple meals. The area is lively and particularly convenient for the beach, with restaurants, beach clubs and several places nearby where you can rent mopeds or book boat trips. Our apartment did not directly overlook the sea. You could see the sea by standing at the far corner of the balcony, but the main part of the balcony faced away from it. The upside was that this side of the building was much quieter. Communication with the host during the stay was friendly and helpful. The welcome bottle of white wine was a nice touch, and towels and bed linen were changed during our seven-night stay. The host also offered to let us keep our luggage at their apartment after checkout until we needed to leave, which we appreciated. The blue bus to Corfu Town stops directly in front of the property and, during our stay, came roughly every 30 minutes. The QR codes at the stops were useful for checking the bus status. For groceries, Joy Market near Malibu Beach Club was the best option we found, with a much better selection and better prices than the smaller tourist shops nearby. Bus tickets can also be bought there in cash. One thing to keep in mind is that the property is far from Corfu Town. The bus makes the journey manageable, but the location is still less convenient if the town centre is your main focus and you do not want to rent a car.

The apartment is quite small and the facilities are fairly limited for the price. There is no washing machine, iron or safe, and there was no toilet brush in the bathroom. There is also no lift, which is important to know in advance if travelling with heavy luggage. The check-in and key collection process could have been explained more clearly before arrival, and late checkout was not available even as a paid option. Overall, I found it somewhat expensive considering the size and facilities offered.

La posizione è davvero buona, a due passi dalla spiaggia di Ypsos. La struttura è stata rinnovata di recente: è tutto nuovo, curato e molto accogliente. Una nota di merito speciale va ai letti, che sono risultati estremamente comodi. Durante il soggiorno abbiamo avuto un piccolo problema con l'acqua, ma va riconosciuto che lo staff è stato reattivo e lo ha risolto prontamente :) Solo due consigli: Non essendo prevista la pulizia giornaliera, sarebbe utilissimo mettere a disposizione degli ospiti almeno una scopa in camera, in modo da poter togliere in autonomia la sabbia quando si torna dal mare… Check-in: Le istruzioni per l'arrivo non sono chiare. Per fare il check-in bisogna suonare al primo piano, ma non c'è scritto da nessuna parte. Suggerisco di indicarlo meglio nelle comunicazioni o di mettere un cartello più visibile all'ingresso

La nota dolente in alta stagione è purtroppo il rumore. Trovandosi sopra a un night club e affacciando su una strada dove passano motorini che suonano di continuo, unito a una scarsa insonorizzazione della camera, riposare può risultare difficile soprattutto se i vicini di stanza sono ragazzi in viaggio di maturità

No hay una recepción, no te recibe nadie, no te indican cómo es la llegada , no aclararon que está en un tercer piso por escalera , es muy importante para personas viajan con maletas No hay un teléfono a donde dirigirse , la persona que después de mucho esperar salió a preguntarme si necesitaba algo con antipatía. Los aviones a corfu llegan temprano y hacen esperar a las personas en medio del calor intenso prácticamente en la calle
