The Underwood Hale House is a stunning property located in the Fox Point neighborhood of Providence, walkable to both Thayer and Wickenden Streets. My husband and I both attended college in Providence and can safely say that this is by far the best location in the area - walkable to boundless restaurants, bars, boutiques, Brown U, a Trader Joes - you name it. Richard, our host, was incredibly kind, accommodating, and responsive. We will absolutely be back to this property and recommend it highly to others.

We loved this place, such a beautiful charm about it, the common areas were great, and what a fun city to explore.

I set up a laid back girls night, targeting the city of Providence as a perfect location central to where we live. Unfortunately upon arrival we realized the twin bunk beds were not in fact "twin" but toddler sized. While it made for a good laugh and a good photo op, we made the best of it and my 5'0 friend sucked it up and slept in it while my 5'9" friend took the couch. There is a small dorm sized fridge in the apartment and access to the shared kitchen, which was a little confusing. We did not find any brochure or welcome packet to help explain things, like how to use the fireplace or confirm check out procedure. That might be helpful in the future. Overall, it was a very nice laid back girls night and we had a great time just relaxing and swapping stories . Much needed.
