Cedar Haven is a nice, private two bedroom cottage on Hodgdon Pond, and across the pond are just the trees of Acadia.
Living room and eat-in kitchen across the pondside of the cottage. Additionally one bedroom with a queen bed, one bedroom with two twin beds, and a full bath.
After a day exploring the Park and shops, you can relax on the pondside deck.

The cottage location was amazing and the lake was gorgeous! Overall, the cottage could use some updating, the bathroom fan seemed like it was on the fritz.

This is a fabulous, little accommodation, surrounded by woods, water and nature. The host has taken great care to equip the home with all basic necessities and beyound. Perfect for groups, looking for a feel of camping minus the hardships involved.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was our first time in Maine visiting Acadia NP! We couldn't ask for a better location ! It's by the pond (where you can kayak), surrounded by the woods, remote, tucked away from the crowds, and only 25 min to Bar Harbor. The property manager is quick to respond if you have any issues. Great communication. The cabin is a little old but very cozy and that is a charm about these older places. The kitchen is stocked above and beyond. Pots, pans, dishes, spices, extra extra stuff. Couldn't ask for more. We saw deers and a fox by the property! Very peaceful beautiful location! I really hope the owner will rent it out for a few upcoming years because I want to bring all my family to this amazing place ! Thank you for everything! PS: if visiting Acadia 2 must do trails : Beehive and Precipice. You won't be disappointed!
