Welcome to Hidden Haven Cabin!
This lovely mountain cottage is located in the heart of Boone, providing convenient access to the wonders of the High Country. Just minutes from downtown Boone, home to Appalachian State University, and full of restaurants, shopping, and local events. This home is also a ten-minute drive to Valle Crucis, which boasts the original Mast General Store and the Riverside Community Park. Appalachian Ski Resort and Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park are less than 20 minutes away, and Banner Elk is just under 30 minutes from the cabin. Foggy Mountain Gem Mining and Sunrise Mountain Mini Golf are less than 5 miles away.
Upon entering Hidden Haven Cabin, guests are greeted with a bright main floor with a wall of windows casting light on the hardwood floors and beautiful vaulted ceilings. The tongue and groove ceilings and exposed beams add warmth to the space. The comfortable living room furniture provides the perfect setting for family and friends to gather and share tales of High Country adventures. Warm up by the gas fireplace while reading a good book or watching your favorite show on the smart TV. Hardwood floors create a natural flow from the living room into the dining area and kitchen. The dining table has seating for eight guests, with seating for three at the bar. The kitchen is outfitted with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, perfect for whipping up your favorite meal. Step onside onto the wrap around deck, accessed from the dining area, to find a covered deck with Adirondack seating and a gas grill. Enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the fresh mountain air.
Hidden Haven Cabin is a two-level home that can comfortably accommodate up to ten guests in four bedrooms. The master bedroom is located on the main floor, and provides a private oasis for guests. The spacious room has a king bed, Smart TV, access to the deck, and an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom has double vanities and a tiled shower. There are three additional bedrooms on the lower level. The king and queen bedrooms both have TVs and access to the deck. The final bedroom can sleep four guests in full-over-full bunk beds. There is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo on the lower level. The living room sofa converts into a queen sleeper sofa for an additional sleeping.

Live cable TV is provided on the living room TVs. The bedroom smart TVs are setup for guests to use their own streaming accounts.
Guests at Hidden Haven Cabin have Wifi, central heating and air conditioning, main floor powder room, and a laundry room. Warm up by the outdoor wood-burning fire pit. Pets are not permitted at the cabin. Please note there is a camera overlooking the driveway and parking area. The cabin is accessed via a gravel driveway and parking area with room for four vehicles. AWD or 4WD is recommended for winter travelers.

This property was great! Loved the big kitchen and living room area. Very clean and very close to campus. If going in the winter months, you would definitely want to have 4 wheel drive b/c the road is very steep and curvy with no guardrails. Our only complaint is that there was no local TV, so we couldn't watch local channels with football games. That was definitely frustrating. We logged into our Hulu account to watch some of the games, but to just turn on the local ABC/NBC/CBS, we were unable to do that.
