Beautiful! Brand New Apt old town

This apartment is fantastic in a perfect location between Getsemani and the Old Town. You can walk everywhere, that is ideal for a day exploring the beautiful streets and colorful buildings of Cartagena and also going for a night out in Getsemani. The apartment is extremely comfortable and nicely decorated, the AC is very good (extremely important), Wifi signal worked really well, the bed super comfortable and the 2 bathrooms (one on each floor) perfect for a couple. The building has 24 security and is close to the port where you can get on a boat to explore the islands (I recommend 'Luxury Beach Club' in Isla Rosario and 'Paraiso del Sol' in Isla de Tierra Bomba).

Not specifically related to the apartment, be prepared for the heat, Cartagena is very hot!!! During the days make sure you go to the beaches and islands where temperatures are cooler... explore the old town in the early hours of the day or late afternoons / evenings.

The host was easily reached and responded to all queries. She was amazingly responsive. The location of the apartment was between the historic centre and Getsemani. There were lots of restaurants, bars and activities. The AC worked well, the balcony and the upper deck were very appreciated. We used the communal laundry facilities.

GPS was very difficult in this area because google maps uses street names that are numbers and Cartagena has actual names posted for the streets so it was very difficult to navigate.

Lamentablemente escapa a los propietarios pero cuando salís de tarde noche hay varios personajes y homeless que están sobre la acera del edificio.
