The villa was exactly what we wanted for our holiday

The villa was stunning, Great pool and a lot of space! Had all the equipment needed.

Unfortunately we had an electrical fault so couldn’t use the air con and hot water for a day however the owner was extremely responsive and an electrician was called out straight away. The stairs felt abit unstable.

Arrived at the villa and was allowed to check in a little earlier which appreciated. The villa is in a great location.. 20 mins walk to the beach front and 5 minute taxi. Overall the villa was bright and spacious with a modern feel throughout. Smart tv in the living area and nice seating areas enough for 6 people. Kitchen is well equipped with a spacious fridge and another fridge downstairs by the pool area.

Unfortunately I’ve had to include the negatives to our stay .. after I messaged the owner with my concerns and she subsequently blocked me. On our first day we noticed that we didn’t have enough towels for 5 people ., I therefore contacted owner who basically accused my of lying and said the cleaner had left them. Explained that I wouldn’t be dishonest over a bath towel and eventually they dropped us some extra. We had an infestation of Ants that they came to treat, but it didn’t work. There was actually an ants nest under one of the beds. Sunbeds were very dusty on arrival .. and the downstairs shower needs a deep clean. It’s filthy dirty around the seal and also the window. There’s a dangerous step also in the corridor so beware. No mirrors in the downstairs bathrooms and not a single bin. Lots of decorative issues that prevents the villa from being luxury .. marks and holes on the walls , tile falling from the ceiling, piece of hard board wedged under the outside sofa. The stairs are a death trap and not suitable for young children. They do not feel secure and are a tight spiral staircase making it impractical to take cases down it. However the worst thing we experienced was on our first day the whole of our power went out. Contacted host who advised us to reset the breaker system .. which worked temporarily. We had to do this several times a day whilst there .. which I’m not sure was entirely safe. On our last day it completely failed and we had no electricity the whole night. Add this to the fact that the air con units are in people bedrooms and control the whole floor.. you’re either sweating or freezing throughout the night .. unless you’re comfortable walking through another guests bedroom in the early hours ! The pool also was leaking. We had to manually top it up with a hose all day. Not sure this is sanitary. Also no hot water in the main upstairs bedroom. Just to reiterate ., I try to give constructive criticism to the host who proceeded to block me.
